40s British Military Dark Navy Doctor Bag IND 1769

1940s British Military Dark Navy Canvas Doctor Bag

Although there are no markings that clearly indicate the exact year, I believe this dark navy canvas dates from around the 1940s. The original British military canvas has been taken apart and reconstructed into a doctor bag.

The canvas has faded beautifully over the years, giving the bag a naturally aged and unique character.

The handles are made from high-quality Italian leather, approximately 4 mm thick. It is a very strong and durable leather that will develop a beautiful patina with use.

The webbing is original British military cotton webbing, paired with durable COBRA buckles for opening and closing the bag. This combination brings together vintage military materials and modern hardware.

The shoulder strap is 5 cm wide and fitted with original British military hooks. The length can be adjusted using an AUSTRIALPIN slider, made by the same company as the COBRA buckles.
